Hindsight is 20/20.
It is easy to look back and judge what should have happened or what was right, but in the moment, it is often much more difficult. This is important to understand as a manager: When you evaluate the decision-making of others, it is very easy to look back and point out flaws, but remember, these decisions don’t look the same in hindsight.
Hindsight bias can also make for interesting character design. This is a common personality flaw, and having a character in a group that questions past decisions while bragging about their own abilities, can add some dynamism and interesting internal group conflict to a story.
